There are no bus services to Thurston evenings, Sundays or Bank Holidays.

Did you know? There is a FREE weekly bus to TESCO from Thurston Station on Mondays @ 9:30 a.m. arriving @ TESCO @ 10:00a.m. then leaving TESCO @ 11:05a.m. It picks up from Wheatfields and Community college en route.

Trains: Thurston is served by trains on the Ipswich to Cambridge service (table 14 of the National Rail Timetable). This gives frequencies of approximately every hour morning, afternoon and evening Monday to Saturday and two hourly on Sunday and Bank Holiday Monday. Monday to Friday evenings additional services are provided westbound by two Ipswich to Peterborough trains.

From Ipswich there are trains to London (Liverpool Street), Norwich and local destinations, and from Cambridge trains to London (Liverpool Street or Kings Cross), Kings Lynn, Stansted Airport, Peterborough, and the Midlands.
